Bio
Short & long versionNot This Time is a metallized hardcore band from Łódź, Poland. The five-piece builds its sound on uncompromising weight and on lyrics that state simple truths without dressing them up.
The band formed in 2018 and stepped out of the Łódź underground in June 2019, self-releasing its debut EP NTT the same month. A mix of modern metal heft and hardcore abandon, it established the band quickly on the local circuit.
Some Have No Choice followed in 2022 — a heavier, more deliberate second EP. A year after that came Three Kills Live Session (3KLS): four tracks cut live off the floor in the studio and released in February 2023, a deliberately unpolished record that closed the band’s first chapter.
The second half of 2023 brought the first real disruption. Vocalist Ztvoro left, and a drummer’s injury put live plans on hold. More changes followed — guitarist Cieśla stepped back in September 2024, and the bass position changed a year later. Rather than wait it out, the band spent the time reworking its arrangements in the studio, and returned to the stage in a reshaped line-up, proving that the name Not This Time describes exactly how the band handles a crisis.
